19th installment of Ladli Behna Yojana: Ladli Behna Yojana of Madhya Pradesh is one of the most popular and ambitious schemes in the country. Under this scheme, every month an amount of ₹ 1250 is transferred directly to the bank account of Ladli sisters. Lakhs of Ladli sisters of the state are taking advantage of this scheme. In the month of December, the amount of the 19th installment of this scheme (Ladli Behna Yojana 19th Installment) will be sent to the accounts of the beneficiary sisters. However, recently the names of many sisters have been removed from the eligibility list of this scheme. Let us know which women will not get the benefit of this scheme.
Reason for removal of name from the scheme
The names of 182 women have been removed from the eligibility list of Ladli Behna Yojana in the Gram Panchayat of Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. A letter issued by the Women and Child Development Department has clarified that many women had applied for the scheme, while they were not eligible. According to the data, a total of 2,18,858 objections were lodged after the application process, after investigation of which the names of ineligible sisters were removed from the list. Currently 1,29,05,457 women are taking advantage of this scheme.
Launch of the scheme
The Ladli Behna Yojana was launched on 28 January 2023 by former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh and current Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Initially, an amount of ₹ 1000 was transferred to the accounts of women. Later this amount was increased to ₹ 1250. This scheme was started with the aim of empowering women financially and it was well appreciated across the state.
Who cannot take advantage of the scheme
Only eligible women can avail the benefits of this scheme. In such a situation, if a woman is unmarried, then she cannot take advantage of the scheme. Women above 60 years of age are also not included in this scheme. Families whose annual income is more than ₹2.5 lakh or whose family members are MLAs or MPs are also not eligible for this scheme.
Families holding government posts also ineligible
Women whose family members are working in a government post also cannot take advantage of this scheme. Eligibility is reviewed from time to time by the Women and Child Development Department so that the benefits of the scheme reach the right people. Women are advised to check their eligibility before applying.
