Betul Mandi Bhav: A total of 28,537 sacks of crops arrived in Betul Mandi on Thursday. Out of these, 1992 sacks of wheat, 1559 sacks of soybean, and 24,974 sacks of maize arrived. Maize and wheat were the highest inflows in the market. Due to fluctuations in the prices of crops, farmers are seen to be dissatisfied.

Major arrivals of maize and wheat

This time also, maize and wheat were the highest in Betul Krishi Upaj Mandi. But for the last few days, a decrease in the total arrival of crops has been recorded in the Mandi. Farmers often bring crops in the hope of good prices, but in the current situation, the prices of soybean are so low that it is becoming difficult to recover the cost.

Farmers upset with low prices of soybean

Farmers say that the price of soybean has fallen so much that they are not even able to get their cost price from it. According to the farmers, despite good quality, the prices of soybean are not satisfactory. In such a situation, farmers are storing the crop and waiting for the price to increase.

Supply of moong and urad is zero

On Thursday, there was no arrival of moong and urad in Betul market. In the past few days, the price of moong has been up to ₹4051 per quintal, while the price of urad has reached ₹7200 per quintal. Due to the unavailability of these crops, there has been more pressure on other crops in the market.
