DA hike: The Madhya Pradesh government has given a wonderful gift to its employees on Diwali. The government has increased the Dearness Allowance (DA) by 4%, which has now increased from 46% to 50%. This new DA will be implemented from 1 January, 2024. Official confirmation of this decision has also come.
The Central Government also did not back down
This step was taken when a few days ago the central government had increased DA by 3% for its employees, due to which their DA has now become 53%.
Expression of happiness of the Chief Minister
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav expressed happiness on this announcement and said, “On the occasion of Diwali and Rajya Establishment Day, this DA increase is a good news for everyone. Best wishes to everyone from my side!”
History of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh
Remember that undivided Madhya Pradesh was established on 1 November, 1956 and Chhattisgarh was made a new state on 1 November, 2000.
Approval from Finance Department too
The Chief Minister also told that the finance department had already given the order of 46% DA for this on 14 March, 2024, which came into effect from 1 July, 2023. Now all government employees will get 50% DA from 1 January, 2024.
DA update in other states too
Along with Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Assam, Telangana, and Arunachal Pradesh have also announced DA hike for their employees. Due to this step, the employees of Madhya Pradesh are getting a lot of relief in the time of inflation and Diwali has become even more special.
