Saim Ayub: Pakistan registered a spectacular nine-wicket win against Australia in the second match of the three-match ODI series. The credit for this win goes to Pakistan opener Saim Ayub and bowler Haris Rauf. While Ayub played a strong innings of 82 runs, Rauf destroyed Australia’s batting by taking 5 wickets.

Ayub hit a brilliant six off Australia’s fast bowler Mitchell Starc in the 12th over through a flick, which went straight across the fine leg boundary and fell into the spectators. Haris Rauf’s havoc, Australia bundled out for 163 runs

Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf, with his strong performance, bundled out the Australian team for just 163 runs. Rauf took 5 wickets for 29 runs, due to which the entire Australian team could not survive. After this, Pakistan openers Saim Ayub and Abdullah Shafiq shared a 137-run partnership for the first wicket and brought Australia to the brink of defeat.

Ayub’s explosive innings, but missed the century

Saim Ayub played a blazing innings of 82 runs off 71 balls, which included 6 sixes and many attractive shots. However, he missed the first century of his career as leg-spinner Adam Zampa dismissed him. The rest of the work was done by captain Babar Azam (15* runs) and Shafique and Pakistan won in just 26.3 overs and leveled the series 1-1.
